4. Still She Glows

Betty Greer

Still She Glows is about the strength that comes after you've faced life's storms and come through the other side.  It’s about resilience — the kind that stays with you long after the struggle is over.

The storm in this painting represents anything that tries to overwhelm you. She’s still standing, glowing, showing that your inner strength can outlast it all.

I painted her face and hands in a realistic, luminous style because her calm, steady expression is the focus. Her gaze is direct, as if she’s saying: you can survive your own storms, and you can shine too.

Her dress and the background carry movement and texture, holding the history, emotion, and challenges she’s faced.

When you look at “Still She Glows,” I hope it reminds you of your own resilience, and that your strongest glow comes from everything you’ve survived.
