This painting is about the trust that grows when you feel genuinely supported by the right people.

As I came to know myself more deeply, I began to notice which relationships felt nourishing and which ones left me feeling depleted or unseen. Over time, I made better choices about who I allowed into my life.

It wasn’t done with bitterness, but with clarity. I realised I was drawn to depth over surface connection — relationships where I could simply be myself, without needing to perform or change myself.

That process wasn’t always easy, but what remained felt solid and meaningful. My husband, my family, my friends — the people who are in my life now.
