Behind this painting
This painting is about care and connection.
It came from a time in my life when I realised how much it meant to simply have another person’s presence. I didn’t need answers or solutions, or anyone to tell me how to feel. I just needed someone to sit with me and listen.
What stayed with me was the kind of support that didn’t try to fix anything. Just having someone beside me, without pressure or expectation, made a difference in ways that felt steady and honest.
In the painting, the hands are gently held, with a sense of warmth moving through them. It reflects that kind of care — something simple and human. Sometimes the smallest gesture can carry the deepest meaning.
A moment to reflect
When has someone’s presence made a difference in your life, without words being necessary?
