This painting is about the moment you choose to step into a new chapter of life.

It came from one of the biggest decisions my husband and I ever made together — choosing to leave behind the life we knew and begin again in Turkey.

​

We didn’t know exactly what waited on the other side, but we had come to trust ourselves and each other enough to know we didn’t want to stay in a place that made us wonder “what if”.

​

There was uncertainty, but also a pull forward — a sense that this was the direction we were meant to take.

​

Threshold is about that moment. The one where possibility begins to feel stronger than fear, and staying still no longer feels like an option.

​

It is a step we are so glad we took.
