These paintings tell the story of what became possible when I reached a point in my own life where something had to change.

I'm a painter. I live on a mountainside in Türkiye, overlooking the sea. I didn't always live this way.

​

For a long time I kept going.  People pleasing, trying to fit in, and keeping the peace until I couldn't do it anymore.  I didn't choose to stop. I reached the point where I had to.

These 21 paintings tell the story of what came next.​

Each painting marks a point along the path that led me to becoming an artist and a writer, living a life with the people and things I love.   A life built around who I truly am.
