Walking the Path

This painting is about inner strength.

For me, it’s something that has carried me through my life — especially in times when I wasn’t sure how I would cope, but needed to keep going.

​

There were many moments where I showed up for life even when I felt fragile inside. Over time, I realised that strength became something I could rely on. It’s what helped me move through uncertainty, difficult choices, and the slow process of rebuilding myself.

In the painting, the light and luminosity of the woman reflect that inner strength, as if it is moving through her and into the space around her. Her flowing hair carries that sense of movement and energy, as though what is within her is also shaping the environment around her.

This painting came from recognising that strength — the part of me that has kept going when things felt difficult.
