This painting is about resilience - our capacity to bounce back after difficult times.

There have been moments in my life when staying was harder than making the decision to move on, even when I didn't know what the outcome would be. But I trusted that something better was waiting on the other side.

I've learned that resilience isn't about being unaffected by life's challenges; it's about continuing on despite them. Making hard decisions, trusting yourself, and discovering you're stronger than you realised.

I painted a calm and radiant woman, glowing in front of a storm. The storms behind her represent everything she has come through. The woman is unshakeable. She has proven to herself that she will always come out the other side.
