Behind this painting
This painting is about arriving at a place of trust in yourself — and the freedom that comes when you no longer need the world to confirm who you are.

The work I had been doing — slowing down, reflecting, and getting to know myself honestly — had been changing something in me. That acceptance had been gradual, built through everything I had worked through. But somewhere along the way it had become something more — a settled trust in myself that no longer needed confirming from the outside.

In the painting, she stands grounded with a sense of calm around her. The blurred figures reflect the expectations and opinions that once felt so important. They are still there — but they no longer define her.
A moment to reflect
How much closer are you to trusting yourself fully — and what has helped you get there?
