Behind this painting
This painting is about what happens after the step has been taken.

The decision has been made. The threshold has been crossed. And now, for the first time, there is space — not yet fully formed, but open and full of possibility.

Old roles and expectations begin to fall away, and space opens for something new to emerge.

For me, this was the moment I arrived in Türkiye. I felt I could finally begin to create a life that was entirely my own. A fresh start. A new beginning.
The woman in this painting is open to all of it — face lifted, light flooding in, letting go of everything that no longer serves her and making space for everything that does.

This is where a life that feels like my own begins to take shape.
A moment to reflect
Is there an area of your own life where you are ready to let go of what no longer serves you — and make space for something new?
