20 - PEACEFUL AWAKENING

There's a specific feeling to waking up feeling genuinely content. Not relieved it's the weekend. Not grateful for a day off before the next one starts. Just content — nothing weighing on you, nothing to perform, no list already forming before your feet touch the floor.

After the space to think, after the horizon starting to feel within reach, this is what waits on the other side. A slower life. Fewer things demanding your attention, and somehow, more room to actually live in the ones that remain.

The day ahead isn't full — and that's the point. It's yours to shape, or not shape at all.

Less isn't a compromise, it actually feels more. It's what makes space to fill your day and life with things you actually love. ​

The woman in this painting isn't rushing to meet the day. She's letting it arrive slowly, on its own terms, and hers.

This is how it felt like for me waking up one morning In Turkiye, knowing that my day could be filled with painting and writing.  My day was mine to shape.
