There are moments in life when everything you have worked toward, hoped for and chosen finally arrives — and you feel it not just in your mind, but in every part of yourself. A deep breath. Space. Clarity. A warmth that glows from somewhere inside and fills everything around it — a feeling of complete joy.

That's where this painting came from. The feeling of having left behind what no longer belonged in my life and arriving somewhere that finally felt like mine. A completely new start. The simple, overwhelming feeling of — I'm here. I actually did it.
