This painting is about the moment you choose to step into a new chapter of life — not because the path is clear, but because something inside you knows it is time.

It came from one of the biggest decisions my husband and I ever made together — choosing to leave behind the life we knew and begin again in Türkiye. We didn't know exactly what waited on the other side. But we had come to trust ourselves and each other enough to know we didn't want to live with the question of what if.

​

There was uncertainty, but there was also something stronger — a pull toward a life that felt more true, more free, and entirely ours to shape.

Threshold is about that moment. The one where possibility begins to feel stronger than fear, and staying still no longer feels like an option.

It is a step we are so glad we took.
