19 - SPACE

This painting is about seeing your place in the world and realising what feels possible.

There comes a point when the horizon stops feeling like something out of reach and starts feeling like something available to you. When the life you've been glimpsing in stolen moments begins to feel genuinely within your grasp.

​

When you create a life where only the people and things you love are in it, you are left with space. Real space. Space to think your own thoughts through to their natural end. Space to sit with the question of what comes next.

​

The woman sits alone at the water's edge, facing the vastness of the sea and sky. Her solitude is intentional. She has space to think, to dream and to imagine what might come next. The horizon is wide. The sky is infinite. And all of it feels full of possibilities.

​

It was in this space that an idea began to take shape. I decided to share everything I had learned from my journey, from the lowest point in my life to creating one that felt truly mine. I would teach myself to paint and write a book to take people deeper into my story and theirs. Perhaps it could give them hope that the life they wanted could become possible too.

​

Space is a reminder that when we create room for ourselves to feel and think, the world can begin to feel possible in ways it never did before.
