Behind this painting
This painting is about the trust that grows when you feel genuinely supported by the people around you.
As I came to know myself and understand what love felt like, I became better at recognising the relationships that were right for me.
I found I was drawn to depth, to relationships built on trust, shared values and respect. I began to step away from those that didn't feel right. What remained felt solid and real. My husband, my family and my friends, the people I now carry in my heart.
Knowing I had these people beside me changed what I believed was possible. I felt more confident following my instincts, making decisions and taking leaps I might once have been too afraid to take.
Each leap strengthened my trust in myself. With the people I loved beside me, I found the courage to keep moving forward and create the life that felt right for me.
In the painting, a woman takes a trust fall, surrounded by solid concrete structures. They represent the foundations she has built around her and the courage that comes from knowing she is supported.
A moment to reflect
What would you feel more confident doing with the right support around you?
